What is 3DMIRACL?
3DMIRACL is a form of fractional ablative laser resurfacing performed using the UltraClear cold laser system. It resurfaces the skin efficiently with little downtime.
Each session removes an ultra-thin layer of around 10 microns from the stratum corneum, which is roughly one hundredth of a millimetre. The laser treats 25 percent of the skin surface in a precise fractional pattern, allowing for rapid healing and minimal disruption.
By gently resurfacing the outermost layer, 3DMIRACL removes old skin cells and supports healthy skin renewal.
There are three main benefits:
- It clears away dull, dead skin cells to reveal smoother and fresher skin
- It activates natural epidermal turnover, helping the skin regenerate more effectively
- It encourages new collagen production in the dermis. Studies show that even superficial epidermal treatment can stimulate deeper skin layers, which may account for the visible improvements

Treatment journey
- Preparation: Your skin will be cleansed and protective goggles will be applied. We recommend arriving with no make-up on to ensure the skin is clean and ready for treatment
- Laser treatment: The laser is passed across the skin in a 15 mm by 15 mm grid pattern. Treating the full face typically takes around five minutes
- Immediately after: The skin may appear mildly pink and feel warm, similar to light sun exposure
- First two days: Pinkness and mild swelling can occur but usually settle quickly
- From day three onwards: Light peeling may be visible as fresher, clearer skin comes through. Make-up can be used from the morning after treatment

How many treatments do I need?
3DMIRACL works well as a one-off treatment before events such as weddings or parties, ideally a few days to one week in advance. For more lasting results, we usually recommend a course of three sessions, spaced four weeks apart. Ongoing maintenance every three to six months helps sustain the benefits.
