Training

Mr Elledge completed dental school in Malta in 2003, graduating first in his class with honours.

He trained in a number of dental specialties before deciding to study medicine, qualifying as a doctor in Birmingham in 2010, again coming first in his year and being awarded the Sir Arthur Thomson Gold Medal and the Chancellor’s Prize.

Mr Elledge gained experience in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery before focusing on higher training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the West Midlands. He completed his surgical training in 2018, including highly regarded TIG Fellowships in Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery and Skin Cancer Management in Nottingham and Leeds, respectively.

Experience

Since December 2018, Mr Elledge has served as a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.

He is a key member of the local skin cancer multidisciplinary team (LSMDT) at Solihull Hospital, known for achieving over 98% clear excision margins in non-melanoma skin cancer (NMSC) surgeries, paired with high patient satisfaction for cosmetic outcomes.
